Wow. Still shocks us to the core to imagine that only 5 months ago we were planning for the upcoming tennis season here in Ontario with much chagrin when suddenly out of nowhere came the coronavirus. It’s crazy to think that in the blink of an eye the entire world, and their economies, could be shut off like a tap. So quickly.
But today is today and we have survived the lockdowns and now are looking forward to the rest of the summer to get our tennis season back on track. Premier Ford announced our ability to reopen in May but just gameplay. None of the facilities including our public washrooms. Naturally this made things difficult.
One thing Canadians are good at is adapting to change and COVID 19, albeit new and something we’ve never endured before, this is no exception. We must adapt in order to survive.
Part of our strategy to emerge from the other side of this in one piece, was to develop outside revenue sources not previous explored before. Yes of course we have had sponsors for our club in the past however this year we decided to branch out to businesses outside our vertical to see if we could find sponsors we’d otherwise never have thought about.
Enter Energy Services Marketing – a company focused exclusively on providing marketing services to businesses in the energy sector across the US and Canada.
The company is a branch of the principal TRESEO which stands for The Real Estate SEO, whereas its principal Don Halbert has been marketing online since before Google existed. Now he has decided to branch out to the energy sector as a private independent contractor offering energy companies a one-stop reliable solution to acquiring energy leads and marketing.
So hopefully moving forward, as we partner with companies like Energy Services Marketing and TRESEO, we can achieve our goals of attaining revenue to get us through this immediate, and future, troubling times.
